the process of reupholstery

each project is disassembled with hand tools to ensure safe removal of old material. after that the piece is inspected for damage. if any damage is found if not already confirmed with the client they will be notified of damage and cost of repair. once repairs are all finished the furniture is then prepped with various materials to build up the comfort level to the client expectations and prepped it for reupholstery. fabric is then cut, sewn if needed and then test fitted. once a snug fit is ensured stapling starts. sometime as many as a thousand staples can be used on a project and that many staples or more are pulled out from that very piece during disassembly.
